Peanut Product Free School
Peanut and Peanut Butter Free School

Peanut Products Removed
As a part of the Aledo ISD strategic plan, the District strives to maintain a safe learning environment for all students. This year, the District has elected to take additional proactive measures to maintain a safe learning environment by phasing out peanuts and peanut-based products sold in our school cafeterias. However, students and staff will still be able to bring peanuts and peanut-based products in lunches brought from home.

On an ongoing basis, the District will continue to educate students and staff on safe practices with peanuts and peanut-based products. In addition, peanut-free eating spaces and peanut-free classrooms will be appropriately designated at each campus.
The peanuts and peanut-based products are expected to be phased out by the end of September. For questions or additional information, please contact Patti Willhite at 817-441-5142.
